NTT DATA launched its "100 Ideas Contest" to encourage its talent to submit innovative proposals that foster sustainability

The call for proposals included all of the company's employees and focused on topics such as circular economy, decarbonization, social impact, diversity and inclusion, and ethics applied to new technologies. The winning ideas will be integrated into the company's ESG strategy.

NTT DATA EMEAL presented its "100 Ideas Contest" to promote and strengthen its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda to build a better society. This contest encourages all employees to contribute with innovative proposals to promote sustainability.

The goal of the initiative was to identify alternatives to improve the teams' performance in categories such as circular economy, decarbonization, social impact, diversity and inclusion, and ethics applied to new technologies.

The company reviewed all the proposals received to integrate into ESG actions in the region or for local projects in the respective country.

The criteria used to evaluate the ideas included alignment with NTT DATA EMEAL's ESG strategy, originality and creativity, feasibility (if it can be implemented in the short term with a reasonable budget), replicability, scope (how many people will benefit), impact and transformative potential and, finally, project visibility.

NTT DATA's 100 ideas for sustainability contest unites us as a team towards a more sustainable future. It allows us to have a space for collective reflection. These ideas from our talent will guide the basis for strengthening our ESG strategies to continue generating a positive impact on our environment and society in general. Gisela Ivette Martinez Rodriguez, Head of ESG LATAM at NTT DATA, pointed out.

Our goal is to integrate 100 of these ideas into NTT DATA EMEAL's ESG strategy.
