R&D Forum 2019: changing the world

NTT is organizing its annual R&D Forum that will be held at Musashino Research and Development Center in Tokyo between the 13th and 15th of November. During the forum, worldwide experts will explore the main trends in technology and innovation, discuss disruptive strategies and establish contacts with business and technology leaders. NTT will present the latest R&D initiatives by lectures and exhibits.

This year, NTT will present the latest R&D initiatives by lectures and exhibits focused in seven different areas:

  • IOWN for Smart World
  • Networks
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Collection, Management and Analysis
  • Media and Devices/Robotics
  • Security
  • Basic Research

Each area will highlight world- class R&D projects that will genuinely shape the future of how we live and work. Business and technology leaders from every industry across the globe will head to Japan to absorb all the latest innovations and insights.

The Forum will also bring together a range of talks designed to allow participants to engage with NTT leaders. Jun Sawada, NTT President and CEO, and Katsuhiko Kawazoe, NTT SVP, Head of R&D Planning will be delivering keynote talks – with many others during the event.

In addition, NTT DATA has prepared exclusive sessions designed to inspire and demonstrate how we can help accelerate our client’s digital agenda. During the 14th and 15th of November, NTT DATA team will showcase up to 20 demonstrations and 4 technology sessions focused in our digital focus areas: Data & Intelligence, Intelligent Automation, Customer Experience, Internet of Things, IT Optimization and Cybersecurity.

During the summit, Carlos Galve, everis CTO and Head of SuSI, will lead a presentation on how Artificial and Data Intelligence are changing the world. The impact of decision-making based on the data and the capabilities of AI to influence all business processes are key elements in the process of transforming companies towards knowledge-guided organizations.

Alfonso Soteras, everis Manager and Head of SuSI innovation at NTT DATA Japan, will present everis knowler, a smart knowledge management, to NTT DATA customers and assistants at the R&D Showcases session.
