As of April 1, Miguel Teixeira took over as CEO of the multinational consulting company NTT DATA, head of the Americas region. Teixeira has a degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon (Portugal) and holds several post-graduate courses in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Project Management from the Catholic School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. He has over 20 years of experience in consulting and IT, local and international project management in companies such as Eurociber - a Portuguese consulting company - and TietoEnator, the largest consulting company in the Nordic region. Over the past two years, Miguel Teixeira has been the general manager of NTT DATA Chile. Previously, he held the general manager position for six years at NTT DATA Portugal. His career at NTT DATA spans more than 20 years, has also held various leadership positions in the banking, industry, and public sectors.

Miguel Teixeira assumed the role of CEO at NTT DATA Americas on April 1 of this year and is now responsible for the markets of Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States.
